

Avaloch Residency (June 20th -24th)
I spent 4 days workshopping music with the Nakshatra, a group devoted to original compositions that are inspired by carnatic music, jazz, and other influences. The quartet is an unusual instrumentation (2 violins, 2 cellos) and we spent a fair bit of time exploring the sonic possibilities. Sacred Games Season 2 on Netflix
Psyched to see season 2 of Sacred Games on Netflix which has been released. My cello is featured all over the background score and theme song of season 1 and I had a great time working with composer Alokananda Dasgupta to get weird cello sounds for her super creative background score (never had a session quite like that in all my years of recording for the Bollywood film/TV industry).
